The most defining feature of our new president Atul is his unbridled passion for conservation and heritage.

While his list of professional achievements is exhaustive, he has successfully managed to inject an element of art & culture into his various ventures.

He has painstakingly restored and developed two 19th century havelis in the Shekhawati Region into ‘Vivaana Culture Hotel’ in 2013. Today Vivaana is a popular tourist destination for the discerning traveller.

Winner of ‘Asia’s Best Design Boutique Hotel ‘ at the Boutique Hotel Award ceremony in London.

With the same vision, Atul is now developing two ancient havelis in Old Delhi into a “Cultural Hub” showcasing the evolution of Delhi through the ages.

His professional milestones include:

  • Co-Chair – Committee for Technical Specification Standards, Test Laboratory and Product Certification, National Centre for Cold Chain Development (NCCD), Ministry of Agriculture.
  • Member – Committee for Supply Chain and Logistics National Centre for Cold Chain Development (NCCD), Ministry of Agriculture.
  • Runs Skill Upgradation program Pan India for National Centre for Cold Chain Development (NCCD), Ministry of Agriculture.
  • Represented brand Hershey’s in India and won the ‘Best Importer Award’ in 2005 by the US Department of Agriculture
  • Runs i2i Consulting allied with several International Associations as:
    • India Representative for Virginia Department of Agriculture, USA (VDACS)
    • India Representative National Pecan Growers Association, USA
    • In-Country Consultant Southern US Trade Association (SUSTA)
    • India Representative Global Cold Chain Alliance, USA (GCCA)

Atul is a true blue Modernite from kindergarten till class XII and has always been actively involved in giving back to the school in whichever manner possible.

Easy going and gregarious by nature, he is a popular Modernite and extremely focused and committed to all projects he takes up.
