VETERAN ACTOR SHASHI KAPOOR TO BE FELICITATED WITH DADA SAHEB PHALKE AWARD

Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor will be felicitated with the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award for 2014. The actor, who has charmed the audience for over four decades, is best known for his performances in films like “Jab Jab Phool Khile”, “Deewar”, “Kabhi Kabhie” and “New Delhi Times”.

Kapoor, who turned 77 earlier this month, is the 46th winner of the prestigious award, which is given out to honour outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema.He has featured over 160 movies and won three National Awards in his illustrious career.

Nephew Rishi Kapoor, an actor too, took to Twitter to share the news.
