Sukhbir Singh Badal Punjab Deputy CM welcomes Durga Shakti Nagpal to Punjab cadre if she is willing to come back to her parent cadre

CHANDIGARH: Punjab deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal has said his government would like to have suspended Uttar Pradesh IAS officer,Durga Shakti Nagpal, back to her parent cadre.

“We welcome her if she is willing to shift to the Punjab cadre. Though I don’t have details on the case, I would like to have such honest officers in the state,” Sukhbir Badal said. Taking a swipe at UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Badal said, “Officers in any state should be allowed to work freely. She originally comes from the Punjab cadre, so she can decide.”
