Sudhir Vasudeva, CMD, ONGC,   chaired the inaugural meeting held in ONGC office at New Delhi in regard to the observance of safety week in the organisation

“Contractual workers need to be trained on Safety practices and operations in a way that they become assets not just to the organization which employ them but also to the entire industry and the nation”, said Sudhir Vasudeva at the inauguration of the 41st National Safety Week at New Delhi.

He stressed on the centrality of safety to ONGC’s oil & gas operations which are more hazard-prone relative to other industrial operations.

Vasudeva further said that there was no room for complacency when it came to adopting and practicing safe operating practices in ONGC.
