Shri M S Soin takes over as RED(ER II) of NTPC

Shri Malvinder Singh Soin has taken over as the Regional Executive Director (East II) of NTPC Limited.

A Civil Engineering Graduate, Shri Soin has served NTPC in various capacities at Singrauli, Dadri, Vindhyachal, Koldam, Corporate Centre and NTPC Hydro Limited before becoming the Regional Executive Director (Hydro Region) and then RED(East II).

He joined NTPC as an Engineering Executive Trainee on December 1, 1977.

NTPC is the country’s largest power generator with an installed capacity of 37,014 Megawatt with 15 coal based, seven gas bases and seven joint venture stations. In the Eastern Region II, it has two operational units in the state of Odisha with two more in the making and another in the state of Assam.
