POWERGRID pledges 55,000 man-hours to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
POWERGRID has taken a giant leap forward by pledging 55,000 man-hours in year the 2016 towards fulfilling its commitment towards the national agenda of “Swachh Bharat”. I.S.Jha, CMD along with all the functional Directors of the Company, addressed the employees of POWERGRID Corporate Centre, Regional offices and Sub-stations including POSOCO through Video Conferencing and administered a pledge of adding traction to the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan”, under its CSR initiative.
POWERGRID has made a statement by pledging 55,000 man-hours in year the 2016 for Swachh Bharat.
The work towards achievement of 55,000 man-hours targettook off on 15th February, 2016 at Raipur in Chattisgarh where the employees cleaned the areas in proximity of POWERGRID office. Similar activities have been scheduled in the coming weeks in all the offices of POWERGRID at pan India level.
