PNB signed an agreement for Information Utility with National E-Governance Services Ltd

Punjab National Bank (PNB) signed an agreement for Information Utility(IU) with  National E-Governance Services Ltd (NeSL) on 08.02.2018 at its Head Office, Punjab National Bank, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Sh. Sanjiv Sharan, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank presided over the Signing Ceremony programme. Sh. J K Gupta, General Manager,  Recovery Division, Head Office of the Bank signed the agreement on behalf of Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Sh. S Raghunathan, Executive Director on behalf of National E-Governance Services Ltd (NeSL). Sh. A K Ahluwalia, GM Recovery, Punjab National Bank and other senior officials were also present in the agreement ceremony.

The objective of the agreement is to augment the information infrastructure in India by storing Financial Information that will help in substantiating defaults and verify claims expeditiously and thereby facilitating resolution in NCLT in a time bound manner
