NTPC TO SET UP ENGINEERING COLLEGE AT SHIVPURI ,JYOTIRADITYA SCINDIA LAYS THE FOUNDATION STONE 

Engineering College at Shivpuri  will

contribute to the growth of the Country

 Union Minister of State for Power Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia laid the foundation stone of Shivpuri Institute of Technology at Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh today.  Addressing massive gathering, Shri Scindia said that Growth and development of all parts of the country are important. He said NTPC setting up of this engineering college will enhance the accessibility of local people to technical degree courses which will be of help to the people of the State besides contributing in overall development of the country.

Shri U.P. Pani , Director(HR), NTPC in his  address said   NTPC has substantial presence in the state of Madhya Pradesh. He added that presently, the largest power station in the country , the – 4260 MW Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Station, is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh. NTPC is also planning  more power Stations in the State.

Local MLAs, Shri ICP Keshari, JS Thermal, MOP , Shri S.N. Ganguly, Reginal Executive Director (WRII) and the leading dignitaries of the region were present on the occasion.
