Najeeb Jung  is the New designated  Lieutenant Governor of Delhi

Najeeb Jung has been designated the new lieutenant Governor of Delhi.The 62 year will be joining office by next week.Najeeb Jung a former Indian Administrative Service joined the Indian Administrative Services in 1973 and worked in different capacities in Madhya Pradesh and with the Government of India.Prior to this Jung was Jamia Vice-Chancellor.In his interaction with media after his appointment as LG he made it clear that there was no conflict of interest between the CM office Delhi and LG.

Also he stated that a big challenge lies before him after his new induction to the post of LG and that is the upcoming assembly election in November. Also he stated that Law and order and women’s safety will be his top priority.
