N S VISHWANATHAN APPOINTED RBI DEPUTY GOVERNOR

New Delhi: N S Vishwanathan currently executive director at the RBI has been appointed as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, replacing H R Khan who will retire on July 7 on turning 62.The Appointments Committee of Cabinet, headed by PM Narendra Modi, has approved of Vishwanathan’s appointment.
