LEANDER PAES FILES PETITION FOR DAUGHTER CUSTODY

Tennis player Leander Paes has filed a petition for custody of his daughter at a  court in Bandra .Leander had been in relationship with Rhea Pillai since 2003 with whom he is not legally married .Paes for safety and concern of his daughter has filed the petition.

It is learnt that the plea runs into 30 pages and provides annexures to prove that he would be the better parent. It says since her birth in April 2006. His submission says he wants the child’s custody as Rhea’s “escapades and irresponsible behaviour, lack of personal maternal supervision and volatile temper are detrimental to a healthy upbringing.
