KARNATAKA CADRE IAS OFFICER FOUND DEAD IN LUCKNOW UNDER MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

Anurag Tiwari, a 2007 Karnataka-cadre IAS officer, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Lucknow on Wednesday morning. His body was found near the Meerabai guest house in the heart of the city. Senior officials have reached the spot.

He served as the commissioner of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department in Bengaluru.

An electrical engineer from Lucknow University, the 35-year-old was earlier posted as Deputy Commissioner of Bidar district.

He has served as Assistant Commissioner of Madhugiri, Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu and Deputy Secretary (Finance) in Bengaluru.
