According to NCAER, India’s middle class population would be 267 million in 2016. Further ahead, by 2025-26 the number of middle class households in India is likely to more than double from the 2015-16 levels to 113.8 million households or 547 million individuals.
There always has been schemes for the downtrodden ,but for middle class in India ,the government should think also and launch beneficial schemes for them as its the middle class only who bore the maximum brunt of inflation as the rich doesn’t require schemes and for the economically backward the current government has launched many schemes .
The Middle class is the real tax bearer and contributing a big part to the economy building. The Modi Government should also look into this category of middle class and bring out some lucrative schemes for their upliftment too .
