INDIA TODAY GROUP SET FOR A ROCKETING GROWTH AS RENOWNED JOURNO SHEKHAR GUPTA SET TO JOIN AS VICE CHAIRMAN AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

New Delhi: Repute Journo Shekhar Gupta former editor of Indian Express  has been appointed vice-chairman and editor-in-chief at India Today Group.

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of Shekhar Gupta as Vice Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of all news properties of the India TodayGroup. It includes all our news and business publications, news TV brands and all related news and business digital brands,” wrote chairman of India Today Group Mr. Aroon Purie  in an internal email to staff.

Shekhar Gupta will be joining  a media company which has its foot across all media platforms  from 1 July.He will be closely working with Ashish Bagga,Group CEO and will be reporting to Mr.Aroon Purie.

Shekhar previously also had worked with group from  1983 to 1995.
