In a tightened dailies market in Delhi and rupee falling down against US$  DNA is set to launch its Delhi edition probably by this month end.

When dailies are showing a decline and channels rising ,is it an appropriate time to launch the same only time will tell whether the daily will be able to hold on to the stiff competition and carve a niche for itself..The leading competitors HT and TOI now have to come out with a more smarter strategy to keep a grip on their market share in Delhi.

But it is sure with the DNA entering the Delhi market the dailies which will be highly affected will be MAIL TODAY and INDIAN EXPRESS as the expected circulation no of DNA will be most probably higher than MT and IE  hitting these dailies in terms of visibility.

DNA is now owned and managed by the Zee group. With the Delhi launch, the newspaper will have editions in seven centres. Currently, while Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune are managed by DNA, the Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Indore editions have been franchised to the Dainik Bhaskar group, which co-owned the paper until a few years back. The Delhi edition will be managed by the Zee-owned DNA.
