GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT TRANSFERS 10 SENIOR IAS OFFICERS

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has transferred 10 senior Indian Administrative Service(IAS) officers.Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in Home Department, P K Taneja, who has now been appointed as ACS, Industries and Mines Department replacing Arvind Agrawal.Arvind Agrawal who is ACS Industries & Mines department has been shifted to ACS Forests & Environment department replacing MS Dagur.MS Dagur, ACS Forest & Environment department has been shifted as ACS Home replacing Taneja.

Vipul Mitra, Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport has been shifted as Principal Secretary Ports and Transport department.AK Rakesh, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer(CES) Gujarat Maritime Board has been shifted as Principal Secretary Cottage and Rural Industries in Industries and Mines department.

Anil Mukim, ACS Health and Family Welfare(Medical Services and Medical Education) has been shifted to the post of ACS Finance replacing Taneja who was holding additional charge.Anil Mukim will continue to hold the additioanl charge of the post of ACS (Personnel) General Administration Department.

Mukesh Puri, Principal Secretary Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar department(Water Supply) has been shifted to the post of Vice Chairman and CEO, Gujarat Maritime Board and Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to Ports and Transport department(Ports).Mukesh Puri would hold additional charge of Principal Secretary, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar department(Water Supply).

JP Gupta, Commissioner of Health, Medical Services and Medical Education and Ex-offico Principl Secretary Halth and Family Welfare department would hold the additional charge of ACS Health and Family Welfare.Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary Primary and Secondary Education is shifted as Principal Secretary Labour and Employment department.L Chuaungo, Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment is shifted as Principal Secretary Primary and Secondary Education replacing Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta.
