Driving private vehicle in Delhi then get ready for a possible fitness test every year if the delhi government cabinet approves so

Delhi government might implement a two year old proposal which requires annual fitness test a must for private vehicles.This will be effective once the cabinet approves so.Delhi has approx 62 lakhs private vehicles which would have to pass the fitness test apart from commercial vehicles which are already going through fitness test to ply on roads.

The move aims to reduce vehicular congestion which is manily due to old vehicles breakdown and also this move will bring down pollution said an official source.
