Dr. Rajesh Katyal gets additional charge as DG- NIWE

Dr. Rajesh Katyal, presently Deputy Director General & Head (R & D), NIWE has been given additional charge of the post of Director General, National Institute of Wind Energy for a period of 06 months w.e.f. 01.02.2017.

Shri Katyal is a M.Tech in Stress & Vibration, Machinery & Structures specializing in Wind Turbine Structures, Wind Solar Hybrid Systems and Small Wind Turbine Testing . His area of Interest lies in Wind Resource Assessment, Offshore wind power development, Grid integration, Health condition monitoring, Wind mapping, Wind forecasting, and Research related to wind turbine components & sub-systems.
