BAJAJ TO UNVEIL THREE VARIANTS OF ITS CRUISER BIKE AVENGER SOON

Bajaj Auto is set to roll out three variants of its cruiser bike Avenger soon as the two wheeler maker seeks to capitalise on the growing demand in the leisure bike segment.

The company is set to unveil the new variants of Avenger on October 27. The three variants are expected to be – 220 Cruise, 220 Street as also the entry level cruiser Avenger 150.

With the launch of three new variants, it expects the volumes of the Avenger to increase from the current level of about 3,500 units a month to about 12,000 per month by end of present fiscal, the company management told the investor conference call.

Mean while, its recent launches such as CT100 and new range of Pulsars have helped the company improve sales in the sluggish motorcycle market.
