R N MISRA APPOINTED CMD OF SUTLEJ JAL VIDYUT NIGAM LTD.

Shimla: R N Misra, presently Director (Civil) of Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) has been appointed Chairman Managing Director of the power PSU.

Misra has been appointed as Whole Time Chairman & Managing Director of the company with effect from February 26, 2015, SJVN said in a regulatory filing.

Misra who has 35 year experience in power sector joined SJVN on May 21, 2010 as Director (Civil). Before joining SJVN, he was Executive Director with NHPC.
