SUTIRTHA BHATTACHARYA (IAS) SET TO TAKE OVER AS NEW CMD OF COAL INDIA LTD ON 5TH JANUARY

KOLKATA: Senior IAS officer Sutirtha Bhattacharya is set to take over as new full-time Chairman and Managing Director of world’s largest miner Coal India (CIL) by January 5.

“The new CMD will assume charge by January 5,” top sources told PTI.

The Telegana government has released Bhattacharya, who was the CMD of state-run Singareni Collieries Company, with immediate effect, the sources said.
